I haven't visited the site much lately and I am not sure if this was posted or not (if it was, I one of the mods will either combine it with the previous thread or delete it, its fine either way) but St. John's alum Ron Naclerio, coach at Benjamin Cardozo High School in Queens, won his 700th game as a head coach in December. Ron is No. 2 on the list for wins by a PSAL coach and No. 4 in the New York State. Another former St. John's alum and longtime Archbisop Molloy Coach, the late Jack Curran is No. 1 for the State while recently retired Chuck Gramby, longtime coach at Andrew Jackson High School (now called Campus Magnet) is No. 1 on the list for the PSAL. Naclerio has had quite a few players go on to play D1 (including former St. John's players Darryl Hill and Ryan Williams) ball not to mention D2 and 3. Several have gone on to play in the NBA. Current St. John's target Ray Salnave (2016) currently plays for Ron.

He does dress up occasionally but even then he looks like Rollie Massimo AFTER a game. LOL! THE biggest basketball junkie ever to graduate from SJU and that includes Lou Carnesecca and the Maven.
 
Has Ron turned down any offer from SJU regarding ass't coach? It seems like such a natural fit.

Do you guys know about he time Naclerio got into a fist fight with the father of one of his players? He is psycho on the sidelines.

Desco would fight him just over the dress code on the sidelines :)
 
Rumor had it that he pushed for a job years ago and was never offered
Rumor also had it that Naclerio was pissed off and steered kids away from SJU
