My Manifesto to Moose

Just kidding. You don't get a manifesto.

Moose, you do a great job on this forum. I presume it's a thankless job most of the time. Especially on days like today.
So here's a big thank you from us supporters. We appreciate your efforts. You really put a lot into this.
Keep it up.
Thanks again,
bk

(And with regard to manifestos, as a side note to Joe3. Joe3, I should have never written you an open manifesto to you as few weeks back. I apologize for that and I'm sorry for it. I hope I haven't started a bad precedent with it on this site. Sorry again.)

Peace all.

I'm honestly just really pissed off we got blown out of the water. I think most people are. Apologies accepted and Moose does have a tough job.

Thanks BK but me and other Mods don't want thanks. We just want respect. The posts and pot shots today are not what I want to see when I come home from the game. And the man who should get the most respect is Paul. This is his house. And he allows us in for free. And lets us talk about the team we all love.

Thank you to Dave for letting us be here and other moderators as well.

By the way Moose, congrats on the baby!

Moose you and all the mods, lead by Paul, do a phenomenal job. Hey with all the redundant and inflammatory posting being done by a certain few posters, it got me thinking: Is it possible for our site to have a "block" button which would allow individuals to block others? Just like Facebook does. Just a thought.

Thank you to Dave for letting us be here and other moderators as well.

By the way Moose, congrats on the baby!

Haha I have no baby. That was my sarcastic response to Joe who wanted the thread locked quicker :)

And Dave? You got the wrong board ;)

I think we should ban him for that, actually.

I'll join the shout-out to Moose and the Mods. (Hey, weren't they a band in the '80s?) And of course to Paul.

Can't say it often enough how much your commitment to keeping this site going is appreciated, especially by those of us outside the NYC area. Can't get to many games in person and a STJ fan gathering here in Western Canada wouldn't need a very big table. It's a treat the share the love (and frustration and disappointment) with the group online.

So, once again, thanks.

I'm pretty sure bk8664 is Satan.

He has 66 thank you's and he his karma is 6. which means he's 666.

Moose You do an excellent .job. If you coached today I bet you would have understood the scouting report which was to stop Pitt you need to stop Woodall . This means man to man and not zone. Also you would have watched warmups rather then make a late entrance and would have known that Branch was not ready to play. Further with a cold Harrison and a subpar Samson you would have used Marco in the last 10 minutes. This is meant to be respectful as the game thread has been made unworthy

It's just a shame that some people have no control over their emotions and then run to this board whining like it's their personal venting area. Not only does it make the community worse for everyone, it also leaves a mess for the mods, who do this voluntarily, to clean up. You know who you are.

Big thanks to all the mods out there. Great job and very appreciated it.

Best post of the day. Other than mine on the game thread, I mean. Which is unreadable thanks to Joe3 and Miguel, mainly.

I'll join a chorus of thanks to all of the moderators and, of course, to Paul.

May I add that while this is free there are expenses incurred to maintain and improve redmen.com and everyone is welcome to chip in whatever they can to a site that most of us benefit from every day of the year.

If you go to:http://redmen.com/ and scroll to the bottom there is a Donate button.

As a former mod for a very short time (my unfamiiarity with the computer made the responsibility a mite intimidating) I applaud and appreciate the job the mods do.

No matter how we spin it, being a mod is a thankless job. having to read and edit so many of our moronic posts....mine especially! God bless you all.

Kind of sick being called out every 5 seconds...can anyone just move on...ever? Stop exaggerating. I even said Moose has a tough job and though we disagree at times I respect what he does to keep the boards running as well as the other mods. Emotions easily take over in sports all the time so stop acting like the normal reaction to getting your butt wiped at home with the tourney on the line is to jump for joy or be content. I post relevant things to complaining about this team at about a 70%/30% split not vice versa like many make it seem. You will not like the product you get when you tell a guy: "damned if you do, and damned if you don't". That is stupid logic...you can't ignore positives and focus on negatives. Be fair. I'm more grounded than many posters here actually being physically connected to the school right now, so you would think that would give you some value and respect but it doesn't here. It's one thing to hear someone's opinions 30 years disconnected from the school. It's another to hear someone's opinions who currently attends and has a sense of how the students are thinking. It seems whenever I make a post that people don't like it counts as 10 bad posts and every good post I make counts as -5. If you set up a setting where a poster can't win, then you should reevaluate yourself.

I think we should lock this thread. The words "manifesto" and "moose" should never be placed anywhere near each other, let alone in the same sentence. It is making me very ill.
