Mushnick (not suprisingly) with a rip job

I guess this will be the first of 962,712 times he will rip this team in his blurbs. To me, that only means that we have arrived, because Phil doesn't hit on the little guys.

From today's Post:

All that happy noise about St. John’s University’s fabulous, nationally-ranked, ESPNU-rated recruiting class, yet no one checked to see if they could read and write?

Mushnick would be quite familiar with people's lack of reading skills since no one reads his column

I haven't read a Mushnick column in over 20 years. As I recall, he used to say outlandish crap just to get a rise out of readers. Always negative.

Why even repeat them here. You give him the attention that he is seeking.

Part SOB Phil's Mush's bio reads" graduated Waynesburg College (now University) in Waynesburg, PA with a degree in English. He joined the NY Post in October 1973 as a copy boy. "A grunt," as Phil put it. For 80 bucks a week he got coffee and drove people around." You know what? Any graduate from Waynesburg does not deserve to write about big time college sports and should stick to getting me coffee and driving me around! At this stage of his career he would be better off writing about the Bingo games at his local senior center!

The way see it we can stick it to all the writers who think they know something but really know nothing by having success on the court

Just an extension of his tireless and tedious denigration of an SJU alum - Mike Francesa.

Francesa deserves to be called out for the fat blowhard he is.

Over and over and over again? Mushnick is transparently obsessed with him. It gets tedious.

As an alum who took Journalism at St. John's and was recruted by my professor to work for the Daily News, I can say with the little authority I have that Mushnick is a talentless a**! Oh, I'm sorry that's my opinion! :silly:
