Actually, his first order of business was to observe and take everything in. He already has formed an opinion of the staff's commitment level. If the team collapses and doesn't make it, do you bring him back for another season with less talent? Most schools would say no. At the very least I'd imagine Mitch rides off into the sunset, and Mullin will have the option to join him if loyalty means that much. Hopefully a 20-point win over Butler eases any concerns -- at least until the next game.
