Mullin named USA bball 3x3 ambassador

Good Job for Chris and kudos for him taking on this responsibility. Now that he is gone on to other duties, there is no need to continue the criticisms levied at him . He still is the greatest Basket ball Player in the School’s history and likely will be for a long , long time . It’s probable too, that many Posters on here , never got to see Chris Play . They missed quite a show .

Happy for Mully. Good fit for him. He is no longer under the microscope here in NYC. Seems content and was very upbeat at a family wedding at Peconic Bay recently.

I think anyone who has played basketball began playing it in 3 v 3 . schoolyard games were 3v3 , games during phy ed cllass were 3v3 , games in Alumni Hall during free time at SJu were 3v3 . I hated playing full court games because they always developed into fast break games dominated by one or two guys . at Alumni Hall you had a chance to possibly be on a team with varsity players and you realized how much higher was their skill level . I'm surprised that CM in the interview didnt talk about how 3v3 was his introduction to hoops .It is amazing how low the U S is ranked in 3v3 hoops since it is the basis for all american players .

Not surprised by this...

There were Big East games on almost every night of the week

High School games too...
If he'd gone to some of them, he might still be here.

How correct you are and what a sad commentary.
I mentor first year law students who are the first generation in their family to go to university and find it exceptionally rewarding.
My advice is always the same Do what you Love. We live in a super competitive environment and you can’t succeed if you don’t love what you do and immerse yourself in it 110%. No sense in taking a job that entails 60 plus hours a week of work if you don’t love what you are doing.
Thank g d we seem to have a staff that loves being in the gym both for recruiting and teaching purposes.
