Mullin Dissed on National TV

St John's beloved coach was totally disrespected on Fresh Off The Boat this evening. A running gag was about the grandmother collecting all the Dream Team cups from McDonalds and at one point Louis looks at the cups and states:

(Even) Mullin got a cup???

Fiery and the salt in the would is that they went on about how Laettner was the grandmothers favorite cup to drink Mountain Dew out of because it tasted best coming out of a white man's head.

This is far more impactful than some silly Wikipedia page on Fun's website. You all should be outraged!

because CM WAS on the Dream Team, was respected by his Dream Teamates, is a Hall of Fame player and was a skilled NBA executive and likely will get our program running...= important

Also surprised they make cups for the guy who only scored the fourth most points on the greatest bball team ever assembled.
 
I knew someone was going to ask this question and yes Constance Wu is great looking and super funny, the neighbor wife is also a perfect late 80's/early 90's trophy MILF type. I also watch Eddie's show on Vice Channel and thought this had the opportunity to be more of a cross cultural commentary type of show when I started watching it but like most network sitcoms they never quite make it there. The writing's pretty good and my wife likes the show.

I'v only caught glimpses of the show (my wife watches it also) but after hitting thank you on mjmaherjr's original post asking the question, I said to myself (it's got to be the mom). Next time I am going to have to see if I can get a glimpse of the neighbor.

She's the one married to Leland Palmer. Coincidentally after watching FOTB I watched Leland's funeral episode. My wife and I are catching up on that before the return in May.
