Muffet McGraw announced her retirement after coaching at Notre Dame for 33 years. She had a fabulous career there, including 2 National Championships.
I got to know Coach McGraw in the 1980's when she was recruiting one of my players at Lehigh. Besides being an outstanding coach, she is a wonderful person who always put the interests of her players first. Interestingly enough, my player now has a daughter who plays lacrosse at Notre Dame, so she had the opportunity to see Coach quite often when she made trips to campus to see her daughter play.
Congrats on having a great career, Muffet. Best of luck for a happy and healthy retirement. You've earned it!!
