MSG to host 2014 East Regional

Sucks for us, since we won't be allowed to play there, but great for the city and MSG as a whole.

Greensboro last year was considered hosted by the ACC

Duke and UNC both played there????

We're considered a co-host with the Big East, so that would preclude.

Also, I believe if we play 3 or more home games (not sure of the number) in that building, that is considered our homecourt, also taking us out of play. That's why Villanova is only playing 2 or 3 games at Wells Fargo Center this year (not that they are going to make the tournament anyway). It's enough for them not to consider it a home court, per NCAA rules.

So then our best bet at getting a "home" game in the NCAA is if the Barclays or the Rock hosts again?

Does Nova always play that few games at Wells Fargo. Last year looked like 4. I thought they played a similar split to MSG that we do.

Not up to date on exact present rules but remember a different rule for early round games and regionals in regard to playing close to home. Anyone? Bueller? Bueller?
