 The Taffner family was honored before the game last night.

We all owe a debt of gratitude to the late Mr. and Mrs. Taffner, Mr. and Mrs. Tobin, the D'Angelo Family, the John Brennan Family and others who have made St. John's the great place it is today.

Those in the SJU community that knew the Taffners always remarked about what really wonderful people they were.

 And it was fitting for the team to win on the night that St. John's honored Mr. Taffner's family.
