St. John's total of 13.

McKoy, Mullin, Bill Wennington, Shelton Jones, Malik Sealy, Rob Werdann, Felipe Lopez, Zendon Hamilton, Ron Artest, Erick Barkley, Omar Cook and Elijah Ingram.

Michael Porter was also a McD AA but came to us after two years of Juco so I didn't include him. Darius Miles who did sign an LOI with us was also a McDAA so I guess you can add him as he was signed but never played for us going straight into the NBA draft.

Only Private schoolS on the list are Syracuse ,and Duke Big East schools don’t get a lot of the MCD kids , likely due to the deep pockets of the State Funded schools . And , in a lot of States it’s a big deal for a kid to stay in state and go to the Kentucky’s, Ohio State , Michigan , Michigan State, etc .

It was Berrys scholastic record that prevented his selection not his athletic achievements. It was common knowledge at the time of the McDonalds selection he was not going to be eligible for Div One basketball.

How many players wouldn't have been McDonald's All-Americans if they hadn't committed to Duke or UNC prior to voting?

I'm a big fan of "The Truth", which is why I can say that as great as Berry was, Mullin was better. And it's not really close.

There’s more politics involved in these games than there should be.
