More Big East Transfers

Gerard Coleman, Bilal Dixon and Ron Giplaye all leaving Providence. Looks like Cooley is cleaning house
Isaiah Epps is leaving Pitt

He needs to clean house. Providence is a bunch of dogs. The last few years there's been more quit in that team than any other team in the country. Council has been the only one there who seemed to care.

If you saw the beat down we gave them, I would say it was Council who has the quit in him and coleman who had the fight.

I think coleman will do some real good things where ever he goes.

Yeah, but replacing them with talented but problematic checkers like Ledo MIT not help what they're trying to build.

:woohoo: Suicide watch in Providence. Rumors abound about another big transfer on the heels of this one,
.

Ledo may have the whole court to himself soon
The Friars are quickly running out of players

Don't know who would be left and 'big' besides Council.

Henton? I doubt it, but maybe rumblings have to do with academic issues with Ledo. Just theorizing!

I personally don't like how Cooley throws his players under the bus. I'm guessing some of the players don't either. Not my style of coach.

Then you must not like Lavin for throwing Q under the bus and telling Stith he would be better served looking for a new start someplace else. New coaches come in, evaluate the returning players and decide who fits and who doesn't. it happens all the time, not just with Cooley.

Not the same at all. Cooley throws his team under the bus to the media. Not a fan at all. Lavin was being honest with Stith because he wasn't going to play.

I think someone needs to learn the definition of "throwing under the bus". It means passing blame to one or a small group of people for a larger groups failures in hopes that the balance of the party involved will escape blame. i.e. Even though we were working on this together it's his fault, not mine. Has nothing to do with the Q and and Stith situations.

Definitions seem to be a real pet peeve of yours.

And grammar, and proper vocabulary. You'd think I was a teacher. My dad was way back when so maybe that's where I get it. But in this case understanding what Marcus meant by throwing under the bus would make it clear that it was in no way similar to Q and Stith.

Providence sophomore Bryce Cotton has asked for his release to transfer out of the program.

Do they even have a program to transfer from ? As much as I am indifferent, I really dont want their program to fall apart. They are in the BE and we need strong teams especially with the soon to come run to the ACC

Not the same at all. Lavin essentially informed Q and Stith they would be recruited over when he took over and brought in a new system. That is the right thing to do IMO. Cooley is doing this year two. With no scholarship room, he was out recruiting everyone and their mother. The question is did Cooley inform those kids last year or did this just happen the past season? If it is the latter, I think that is very poor form.
