I will never forget seein AD monasch at rangers playoffs at msg siitin on the hall floor w his buddys in btwn periods that showed me how well he represented St.Js :blink:


I hope coach Dave Masur will be considered as a candidate

I don't know much about Coach Masur, but he sure knows how to run a successful program

yes indeed & thats why I would like his success model to spread to the other sports at st.j;s
i believe he can do both jobs AD n Coach soccer

I feel like he has been on the hot seat for years now. I don't see any change being made any time soon.....if something was going to happen, it would have happened by now.

Seems with Chris Mullin in and with the baseball program as big as it was back in the 80's and the soccer programs always successful we need a fundraiser. Make SJU, New York's team. Not someone who says we can not compete with the professional franchises. I think the list is simple, Cole, Iona AD Helped SJU as an asst. AD. Fallacaro, former SJ alum, former baseball coach under Blankmeyer, a Kaiser product, and a former SJU asst. AD, and has head AD experience with 2 different schools. Kull Knows SJU tried to get Monasch to do what he was supposed to be doing, knows fundraising, liked by current coaches. Kaplan solid choice, quiet record as an AD, SJU alum, wife has VP role (only drawback), but knows SJU world well. I believe those are the candidates, Quinnipiac is after Fallacaro, so would like to get him in right away to see his interest. Need an Alum, need someone who will have heart and passion for the job, which an Alum will. You pull someone from the outside, they will use lines like "Can't compete with professional sports" "NY is a professional sports town". We need someone who loves the school like us!!!!
