Both the Yankees and the Mets look like they should plan on October baseball this season.
Bats in the Bronx and arms in Flushing. Ought to be a fun season and a welcomed respite from Recruitment Madness.

Go Yankees!

Kid in the Marlins jersey is clearly Dylan Osetkowski. Go get him, Matt!

in last decade, on opening day, only 2 complete games.
sevy goes 5 2/3- gives up one hit - a 2 strike single.
murderers row 2018 - the 3 all stars - does most of the damage.
Toronto's 3rd basemen has sore arm that will bite the jays in april.

What a wonderful day I had yesterday at Citifield. The weather while not great was more then bearable. As with many diehard Met fans I am very cynical at times but I believe that they made a great choice in picking a new manager and coaching staff.

I haven’t been to a baseball game in many years where a team scores nine runs without a home run. The small ball yesterday was refreshing as was the pitching which was against a very strong Cardinals lineup. Only game 1 and the Mets are the leagues best in those but hoping for a more competitive season this year.

I was out there as well. Nice to see some clutch hitting. Mets played well. Let's hope they stay healthy. Citi Field has been a nice place to watch a game. No flyover this year, I guess the weather prevented it. Maybe MJMaher knows what happened?

Yankee fan, but here's wishing the Mets & Met fans here the best of luck this season. Hoping NY has 2 postseason contenders this year. Heading up to NY/NJ for Easter break and to see my woeful Knicks tomorrow.

What a beginning to Stanton's Yankee career.
3-4 2HRs. Stanton, Judge, Sanchez are the new bash brother.
We seen Bird hit some bombs too, I think he could go for 30+ if the guy can ever stay healthy.

Yanks - Mets WS like in 01? NY would baseball on lockdown once again.

Enjoy the game tomorrow NC. I'll assume you are a diehard. Early (before Kristaps' injury) they were fun to watch. Went with my son and watched them lose to San Antonio. Sadly we've been watching mock drafts and "rooting" for them to lose. I hate that part of it, but in reality the talent decreases and the Knicks could sure use some help.
