Mitch Richmond's 20 Year Old Son Passed Away

What a devastating loss for Mitch and his family.

Cannot imagine anything more painful than the loss of a child. One thing fathers seek more than anything is the health and safety of their family. Even as we let go of young men and women as they approach adulthood, we pray for their protection.

Prayers for Mitch and family, though they seem woefully insufficient.

No worse news for a parent than to have a child, especially one this young, pass away. My sincerest condolences to Mitch, his wife and family at this terrible time for them.

All proper sentiments have already been posted. I have know several close people who have had a similar loss - and the theme I heard is "you are not supposed to bury your child".
No easy answers for the anguish - maybe "time and love".

I know what you mean General, I know two people who each lost one of their sons unexpectedly a month apart this year.
 
May the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen

Our thoughts are with you and your family Mitch.
 
Such a sad thing for any family to have to go through. It must be even more difficult to have to do it in the spotlight of celebrity.
