Great start to the season at 10-2...I'm thrilled we avoided any and all bad losses thus far! One of the more concerning things however is our regular struggle regarding layups. The problem is not penetrating...we get to the hoop a decent amount. We just cannot convert once we are at the rim. It's to the point where if I were Mullin I would go back to the basics...use the window on the glass. That's what the square is there for. It's amazing how many bunnies we are missing and it's not in only one isolated game. Our guys need to work on having a softer touch around the rim. Yakwe, Simon, and Ahmed all have very rough touch. Thankfully they are playing good defense to make up for it thus far! Anyone else notice this?
