Miss St ot win at buzzer over uconn
A flawed rule was exposed at the end of the game.
Why could they not put time back on the clock, after going to the monitor, and changing a no call to a flagrant?
I'm a huge replay advocate, and I do think the flagrant was properly enforced, but I think the clock should have reset to when the foul occurred. Basically, 30 seconds of overtime (about that much - I forget how much time actually went off the clock) was played under false pretenses.

What if Miss st had scored during that 30 seconds?
That's what happens when you over use the replay rule. How would civilization continue if they missed that call. Uconn beat Miss St by 60 in last year's tourney so karma came back to bite Geno and Uconn in the arse. Miss St vs S Carolina in an all SEC conference final.Miss St ot win at buzzer over uconn

Good question.
Under my scenario, you'd have to take the points off the board. Since we're retroactively calling a foul, if the clock is reset, anything that happened after the original point of the foul should be null and void.
I don't know what they would have done tonight, when all the time was allowed to elapse.

Huge Uconn women's fan, basketball gods intervened after the flagrant call, Mississippi State clearly the better team on this night and very much deserved to win.
Not a big UCONN fan at all, but have always been impressed with the program Gene put together up there. But it is good for women's basketball for someone other than UCONN to win for a change.
