Looking forward to Friday's matchup. Should be a good contest between two of the more improved teams in the country. Lovett and Ponds seem to be a great foundation for you guys going forward. I'll try and give a quick rundown of our rotation.
Starters
PG : Nate Mason (6'2)- He is averaging 14ppg and 7apg so far this season. Is probably a top 5-6 pg in the Big Ten.
SG: Dupree McBrayer (6'4)- Queens own. Looks much improved from his Freshman campaign. He is averaging 14ppg in 2 games so far this season.
SF: Amir Coffey (six/eight)- He is a top 50 recuit in the 2016 class and is off to a solid start averaging 11.5ppg.
PF: Jordan Murphy (6'6)- He made the Big Ten All-Freshman team last season. He is averaging 8.5ppg and 8rpg in the first two contests.
C: Reggie Lynch (6'10)- Illinois State transfer. He is averaging 12ppg, 6.5rpg, and 2.5bpg in only 17.5mpg.
Bench
PF/C: Eric Curry (6'9)- He is another 4-star recruit Pitino brought in. Eric looks like he is going to be a very good player. He is averaging 10.5ppg and 7.5rpg so far. Very versatile defender. Can guard many wings and also the 4 and 5.
SG: Akeem Springs (6'4)- He is a grad transfer from UW-M. He is a streaky offensive player but is a pretty good defender and rebounds his position well. He is averaging 7ppg so far.
That's pretty much it. We run a 7 man rotation. There are a few other guys who will get spot minutes, but those 7 are the key guys. We have had a very balanced scoring attack in the first two games. Defense and rebounding also look much improved from last year.
