Grew up 10 minutes from Aqueduct walking to Ozone Park from Middle Village. Hello! Anyone home? Anyone think they could get from Middle Village to Aqueduct in 10 minutes? Couldn't do it even by car.

The article said he lived 10 minutes away and often walked. It did not say that the walk took 10 minutes. By the way, mapquest says it's 12 minutes by car, so not too far off.

The article said he lived 10 minutes away and often walked. It did not say that the walk took 10 minutes. By the way, mapquest says it's 12 minutes by car, so not too far off.

If he walked from Middle Village where he grew up, it's still not going to take 10 minutes. Btw, driving from Maspeth( near Middle Village) to Aqueduct had to take me at least 25 minutes.

Not far off. Middle village, say myrtle and 80th is a few blocks form Woodhaven, only 5 minutes or so up Woodhaven to Rockaway, and a few minutes to Aqueducts gates.
