Paultz, where does it say he will visit us? I only read that he is consdering STJ. A visit is a pretty substantial step up from consideration and it pretty much confirms that the staff is also interested.

Having an upperclassmen wouldn't hurt but where is the ship coming from and I would think he would want to go somewhere where he has a chance to play alot and go out with a bang. I don't think that is here.

Personally I think the interest stated is to do a favor to a local kid and to Nate Blue to get some more schools aware that he's available and potentially should be coveted by better schools than the rest on his list right now.

If we have another spot Id rather have a post player and develop him so he can fill the void we will have by loosing Sanchez,Sampson and Gift Of course the pickings are slim at this point, but you never know.

A ship doesn't have to open up for Poole to come, he could walk-on, but why would he do that?

There are what is called "recruited" walk-ons, players who are told if they decide to come will be on the team but not on scholarship. John Schmein comes to mind as an example.

Yeah use Smileys more. Don't disagree on your point with Poole being unnecessary though I don't think there's any impact Big Men gonna plop down on the team at this point. I feel good about the team heading into next season with the hand they're presently dealt.

Sheinman (SP?) wasn't going to play but Andre Stanley's another better example, though he knew he'd qualify for a need based scholarship. I don't see Poole coming under those circumstances and am glad that Newise agrees with my read of the situation.
