MID MAJORJS FIGHT BACK

Excellent article, thanks. College football and basketball are stacked in favor of the Power 6 with their ultimate goal getting ALL the money generated by both. I wish Adams and co. good luck.

These mid-majors just need to accept their fate and get over it. Most of them are never going to realistically have a shot at a NCAA title, and they need to be ok with that. The article mentions the difference between a 14-seed and an 11-seed.

Here are this past years 11-seed first round opponents and the 14-seed first round opponents:

11-Seed: Miami(FL), Houston, TCU, Florida
14-Seed: Tennessee, Michigan, Michigan State, Texas Tech

They are doing this to argue that they should be playing a team like Florida instead of Texas Tech. Doesn't make sense to me.

What is trying to manipulate the system really going to get them? They want to put their 4 best teams in a round robin at the end of the year....how isn't that basically the same thing as a conference tournament?

The Big East is one of the Power 6 so far and when we are considered mid major then I'll be more interested in this issue.;)

This is the disgusting truth about college basketball. It is a rigged system to line the pockets of the power conference schools.

Consider then that the best programs criminally cheat to pay players and their handlers with sneaker and apparel companies gladly footing the bill.

Even Competition? Hah. Least of anyone's concerns. We are the sheep in the seats at a school smart enough to recreate a power 6 conference, honest enough not to buy players, and cheap enough to pocket conference profits and not invest in a top coach (who becomes a top coach by buying players)
