Great showing today, now do us favor...stick a broom up your ass and sweep the carpet on the way out.

I think Pitt and Syracuse are close to being tied for the most hated!

What about Uconn? I'm still upset over the whole Dougie Wiggins recruiting fiasco. I hold grudges.

Based on Marquette's underwhelming performance against SJU a few weeks back I picked them to lose to Davidson... but dang it if Marquette did not come back right at then end... A game Davidson should have had in the bag, bad turnover with 6 seconds left.

Never considered Pitt's defection to be a great loss (an act of treason...yes)...they have rarely been a good tourney team and are a candidate to be the next BC as they move to the ACC...

What's interesting about all these former big east teams leaving for the ACC or being left behind in the America 12 conference, they are all trying to schedule games in MSG for recruiting purposes. Well guess what? There only so many tournaments being held in MSG and there are only so many slots available. Syracuse, Pitt, Uconn, Cinci, all trying to get access to limited spots. And they are competing with heavy-weights like Dukes, UNCs that also want to spend some time up in NYC. Someone is going to get squeezed out. This is a huge benefit to Butler, Creighton and Xavier.

I'll keep on saying it. We should not schedule Uconn. I'm hoping the get stuck in their America 12 conference for a good long while; for that we have to hope the ACC doesn't get raided anymore. Uconn is in a very precarious position right. We could benefit mightily if they take a step back.

And there are rumors that Dixon is headed to USC, anyone else hear this?

Yup - said to have been offered a 10 year contract at $2.5 million per year.

Wouldn't it be nice to see these two defectors head into the ACC without Boeheim and Dixon at their helm?

cant blame him..but he will be a stiff in NBA

Disagree. I like his potential. Learning the game as most foreigners are. I think in the right environment he can do well down the line. Similar to Nikola Vucevic IMO.

Nope, he's a stiff. He also has absolutely no hands. Anything thrown to him is an instant turnover. But he should have a nice 5 year NBA career as a benchwarmer someplace.
