For 16 + years we've certainly had a lot more down times than up times with our team but the one thing that has always been a constant is this board. We might argue sometimes but this board has a lot of really awesome people on it regardless of which side of an argument we might be on. Special thanks to Paul for giving us this AWESOME site. To me it's not even a fan site. It's a place where I can log onto and talk to friends about hoops or whatever. To the 114 crew to virtually everyone else on this board I could mention something about everyone of you that I appreciate most whom I've met and some yet hopefully to still meet.

Merry Christmas to you all ( and Hanukkah and Festivus )

And special wishes for a healthier 2017 for our long time poster North Shore

Merry Christmas Mike.

And thank you to Paul for giving us this forum.
And thank you to everyone for making this a community. The posters here are great guys, and idiots, some are brilliant minds, and others we wish their di%ks fell off. But everybody that speaks their mind makes this fun. And a wonderful respite from real life.

Merry Xmas everyone .Enjoy the day tomorrow with family and friends

Well said USG!

Joy to the world
Joy to the fishes
In the deep blue see
Joy to you and me

I love the last line in Dickens' Christmas Carol
And so let me end with it:

God bless us everyone :)

Merry Christmas to All.

My best Christmas memory this year will have occurred on December 21st with St.John's 93-60 drubbing over the University of Syracuse.

Merry Christmas to all the posters on the best board in college hoops! God Bless you all

Whether you celebrate Christmas or Chanukah, this time of year is all about family, and being thankful for what we have been blessed with. Happy holidays to my fellow SJU fans.

Happy Hannukah!
Happy Festivus!
And a joyous Gurnenthar's Ascendance!

Merry Christmas to all the guys.

Love this site and learn things from so many. History, game perspective, rumors, advance news and look forward to fun's post game recaps, arguments and lobster roll posts.

Wish there was a button to make a small donation to support the site cost.

Merry Christmas and happy holidays to all my fellow Redmen posters and a big thank you to Paul for enabling me to meet and become friends with so many great people over the years.

Without Redmen it never would have happened.

It's the first web site I check every morning and the last one I check every night.

Best of the season to all of the Redmen family.

And Paul, thank you for the gift of this site which brings me tremendous pleasure every day of the year!

Merry Christmas! Happy Holidays everyone!
Paul, thank you for running the site.
Everyone, thank you for the insight and opinions.
I truly love reading every post. Be well. Enjoy!
We are St. John's!!!

Merry Christmas to all!

Echo JSJ and MJMahers posts.about making friends here. I've met both and consider both friends, as both are terrific guys.

It's really a great site, Redmen.com. Whether at CA or MSG, I will often chat with someone sitting near or next to me, and will mention redmen.com. All fans are aware of it, many read and don't post, and it's kind of cool that when I identify myself, the person will comment on having read my posts (whether they agree or disagree doesn't really matter, does it?).

SJU is a special school I believe where relationships among students has always been something special. Most of my closest friends are SJU alums, and even today if I run into a classmate or frat brother I haven't seen in a very long time, the exchanges are at minimum warm, and on occasion re-established friendships and contacts. So many offspring of SJU alums have gone on to more prestigious schools. I hesitate to say "better schools" because for me back then, there was no better place to be than SJU.

I specifically greet people with Merry Christmas because Merry Christmas to me is not exclusive to those that are Christian - in fact I believe it is the most inclusive greeting in the world. At SJU, many classmates rarely spoke about faith, but even if by experience we were being formed in an ethic of how to treat and care for people, to be concerned about those less fortunate, and how to conduct yourself with integrity. All Christian values (though not exclusive to Christianity), that we learned through everyday interaction with our peers at SJU. St. Francis of Assisi once wrote "Always preach the Gospel and when necessary, use words". That credo could certainly apply to our SJU experience

So, Merry Christmas again to all. So many of you, including Paul - our enabler - have become friends I've yet to meet. PMs are a great way to share private dialogue without interference from others, and my New Years hope is that I meet a few more of you that have become friends online will become friends in person.

Thank you all for making this a great forum for everything SJU basketball and everything else.
