Hope everyone gets what they asked for christmas ( I'm assuming we all asked for an NCAA Championship )

More importantly health and happiness to everyone here ( especially our very own Northshore )

And a special shoutout to a couple of our's who passed away this year Jack of Virginia's son and CrGreen
 
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to all my St. John's brothers and sisters around the world!
Discussing redmen basketball and all things SJU brings us all "comfort and joy" and gives us all a place to reconnect about our past and a place to express our hopes for a "resurrection".
In the spirit of the holidays, I thank you all, especially the moderators, for putting up with us (and me) and giving us a place to share memories, opinions and to blow off some steam after a loss or two.
Let's Go Redmen!

I echo your thoughts MJ and extend get well wishes to all the fans facing the holidays with illness. I am sure this site brings them all a measure of comfort during their recovery.

As we rush off to celebrate Christmas with our family and friends, try to pause for a moment and reflect on how richly blessed our lives are. Our lives are immeasurably easier than generations before us. Many of us have had the opportunity of a college education, in a wonderful place where caring and concern, and a core mission of outreach to those less fortunate are ever present in abundance. While we often don't stop to thank God, our ultimate gift is celebrated on Christmas - unto us a savior is born. He can only be found under the tree, wrapped in brightly colored paper, or at the dinner table, or in the eyes of children, if we chose to look for him.

God bless you all, deeply and eternally. Merry Christmas to each of you.
 
Merry Christmas everyone. Thank you to the people that keep this forum going. This place might get a little crazy but it is the place I come to for some sanity!

And, thank you for making it fun again to root for our Redmen and make the winter more enjoyable. This board is great and I'm thankful to be a small part of it. I appreciate the great efforts of Paul and the Moderators...thanks guys.
 
Everyone else said what I was thinking, so I`ll keep it short and sweet as the MAN Paul Massell did.

You guys are all class acts and I look forward to seeing you at upcoming games. Now lets take care of business on the hardwood.
