We should all be glad for Daniss playing in the NBA with the Detroit Pistons in the state of Michigan .
He was t drafted , many BE players are often overlooked .
But , he kept at it and made the Roster this season . Regardless of how his contract is designed.
One of the things I remember about Daniss and that SJU team was that I don’t ever recall Pitino criticizing him the entire year . That criticism was reserved for a few posters here and 1 incessant detractor .
RP is not bashful about trashing a player but , never happened with Jenkins .
Plus , Rick essentially gave the Ball to him all season and it’s not a stretch to believe he was doing Pitino’s orders on the Court .
Even now , Pitino still heaps praise on him , when the opportunity presents itself .
He does that a lot for former players he likes .
Which are many .
