Melvin Tyler Jones Rest In Peace

I just found out that former St. John's Men's Basketball player Melvin Tyler Jones (he went by his middle name) passed away early last month. Tyler played two seasons here before transfering. I don't know the details of his passing, but know he left at a young age.

My prayers are with his family.
 
That is really sad, I spoke with him on twitter maybe six months ago and he was really nice to chat with. He was working as a banker in Utah. I'm shocked.

Makes you realize how fleeting life can be,
It seems like only yesterday that the was being recruited at
an NIT game as I remember, and the whole student body
was chanting his name in unison "Tyler Jones" "Tyler Jones"
