Having the opportunity to play sports on a collegiate level doesn’t come easy. It’s even more difficult to play on the Division I level. Jalen Rosemond is someone who can attest to that.

The Long Island native is currently a walk-on senior for the St. John’s Red Storm men’s basketball team. A co-worker recently mentioned to me that his daughter was friendly with Jalen in high school and still stay in touch. Told me he met him once and that he was really tall and a great kid.

Hope he gets a few minutes on the court at some point this season before graduating.
