After reading the papers today, I dont see one word about the situation in Syracuse over Mr and Mrs Fine and what players may have been getting as "benefits". Not one word about the pics of Mrs Fine that the students held up during the game or the "Canada Team" signs. When the st johns players brought that woman back to their room in Pitt, the papers and media couldnt stop talking about it. It is ironic that she was never "raped" and in the end the st johns players never had sex with her. Yet, what is going on in Syracuse seems to be the opposite. Was sex rampant? Was it a convenient benefit for the players to enjoy? Why is the media so reluctant to bring this up when Syracuse comes to the media capital of the world? Is it because the media people all got their degrees from the Communications dept in Syracuse? Is it because Boeheim is above it all as a "coaching god" with all his wins? It just continues to seem very wrong to me and it seems the NCAA is turning its head on this one.
