Maybe some more basketball?

It may be that our two JUCO commits have a little more basketball left this season. According to the below linked article the NJCAA tournament has been postponed but not cancelled. The tentative start date for the tournament is April 20th.

Isaih Moore plays for the number one seeded and undefeated Pearl River CC and Vince Cole plays for the number seven seeded USC Salkehatchie. Both of these teams will receive first round byes in the 24 team tournament and could potentially make nice runs to the championship.

With everything else cancelled this might give college Basketball junkies (like myself) something SJU related to look at before next October. That said, with this tournament having a start date listed as tentative and the Covid 19 outbreak situation being so fluid it is possible this tournament might eventually get cancelled.

At this point, I think I’d like to see their seasons end, rather than risk injury.

I’m curious to see how the final JUCO player rankings pan out. It would be nice to see Cole and Moore as AAs.

Since there is virtually no sports going on now, I would not be surprised. The sports networks have an awful lot of air time to fill.
