Alright guys, I know it might be hard to think about after a tough loss and duke comin up in a few days, but we have a huge game tomorrow night.

Marquette is (10-7, 2-3)

Marquette also lost at DePaul, by a score of 61-58, they also beat providence at home, and lost a close game at Xavier. Their only other win was a 1 point win against Creighton.

Right now we gotta focus on moving up the big east standings and getting wins anyway we can. If we win this game we will move to 2-4 and MARQ will drop to 2-4, so we can start our uphill climb with a W tomorrow night.

Their leading scorer is Matt Carlino, for those who haven't watched Marquette they aren't great at shooting the ball they struggle to score at times, they have a center luke Fischer who just started playing second semester he has been hitting like 70% of his shots obekpa has to stay on him. Other than him though they aren't that big. We should win this game.

Because of the DePaul loss we are in the same position we were before the providence game, so I think we win this one handily. We are good at MSG.

Jack, I really hope you are correct. My concern is that we may be looking past this game to Duke on Sunday. Hope not.

I don't think they will. That's another benefit of having seniors they cherish all of their final games as a college player so I don't they will look past anything
 
Anyone know the status of Harrison's injury?

Only talk about it was Harrison after the DePaul game, where he stated that he'd be ready and healthy for Marquette. Honestly, we probably won't know his status for the game until it starts and we see how engaged he is and how well he is moving.
 
Also, I took a look at the Marquette board for this one. No talk about us yet,but here's more thug talk from a poster talking about the gtown game last night.

Will be at the game rooting for the team to pull out a much needed conference win. It now turns to a critical game for this team and a season of high aspirations becoming quickly vanished. How will the team respond? Hoping they respond.. no expectation to win against the dukies this year. Match up is bad for us.
 
Considering this team has lost 4 of its last 5, I doubt any of the players are looking past Marquette

Well Avon, I'm considering this game our season. They have no damn choice but to be ready for Marquette if they want their ncaa dreams to remain alive.

Luckily regardless of the outcome my cold is so bad I'll be drinking a lot of nyquil when I get back home so even if we lose I won't lose sleep over it

Yeah, I hear ya. Two weeks ago I had a bitch of a cold, the damn cough is still hanging around though.

This hit me so bad it literally pains me to swallow. When Mjmaherjr won't even entertain the idea of drinking a bronx pale ale at msg then you know it's bad
