That NEC bracket looks odd. I always thought the 1/2 seeds were bracketed in a way that they would meet in the finals if they both won their games.

That NEC bracket looks odd. I always thought the 1/2 seeds were bracketed in a way that they would meet in the finals if they both won their games.

1 and 2 would not meet until the finals. NEC tournament reseeds for the semifinals, so having a conventional bracket is somewhat pointless.

In the NEC tournament they reseed after the first round. The highest seed plays the lowest seed regardless of how the bracket looks before the tournament starts.

Belmont, Northern Iowa, North Florida, and Coastal Carolina punched their tickets to the dance.

Iona/Manhattan playing in the championship tomorrow night for a bid.

I touched upon this in the bracketology thread but Hofstra fell in 2OT to William and mary, a game where missed FTs cost them. That one was tough to watch.

Maryland just beat Nebraska to officially end the regular season of college basketball this year. We are into post season fully now.

Iona/Manhattan playing in the championship tomorrow night for a bid.

How about Dartmouth with the buzzer beater last night, to sting Yale? Forces a one-game playoff on Saturday between Harvard and Yale for the Ivy League Crown, and the automatic birth.

LMF, not sure if you're talking about a permissive missus or simply stamina. When the BET was 5 games, 4 games, 4 games, 2 games, 1 game that was tiring at 30. I couldn't do that anymore, no way, no how. Certainly not with the amount of alcohol ingested amongst other things at that time. I'd have a freaking heart attack.

I thought it was going to be worse. It looked like there was some jawing and maybe a push by the white team. A blue team player got it really started with a push in the back but then it was all white team with only one good punch by the blue team. I could see 7 or 8 suspensions for the white team but only three for the blue team.
