Big game today. Will Ronaldo come back to haunt the Old Trafford faithful, or will RVP shine? I do not have a dog in the fight; Arsenal play next week but hoping for a good game today.

I did not realize the first leg is at the Bernabeu. The away goal by Welbeck could prove pivotal. I look forward to watching the game tonight - stuck at work this afternoon ):

Apparently (the much maligned) De Gea made a great save early on. RM has a very solid team: Lopez; Arbeloa, Ramos, Varane, Coentrao; Khedira, Alonso; Di Maria, Ozil, Ronaldo; Benzema. (No room for Casillas).

Not quite Galacticos, but close.

Can't watch at work - how is Gus Johnson doing?
Good call. It sounded like Gus Johnson. Couldn't believe it. Had to look it up. He is letting the game play without much interuption so it was hard for me to pick it up. As I write this, he just screamed for keeper's save. Good mix.

Well.
He knows soccer.

I work for FOX, so take it fwiw, but Gus Johnson is doing quite well here. Not another Dave O'Brien at all.

I bet he takes it easy. Many questioned if he would be too over the top so I think he presses brakes

Well, in the first five minutes he mistook Ronaldo for Ozil, referred to the Goalkeeper (or even Goalie or 'Keeper) as the "Goaltender" and called a half-chance "a golden opportunity". I stopped counting after that. Warren Barton did a nice job though.

Casillas is actually injured.

Maybe. Mourinho dropped him a few weeks back.

Ding ding ding. Round 2. Delicately poised tie here, 1-1 after first leg. No Rooney for Man U.

De Gea, Rafael, Ferdinand, Vidic, Evra, Carrick, Cleverley, Nani, Welbeck, Giggs, Van Persie.

That red card on Nani was harsh - and I am not a Man U fan by any means... Nice goal by Modric though. Only one EPL team left in the UCL (or about another week)...

It's pretty much a foregone conclusion anyway, but this just about clinches the EPL for Man U. Watching the replay now on FoxSoccer. Jesus, cannot stands Gus Johnson and his screaming.

Wow. Just saw it. I agree with you, I hate MU, but that was a ridiculously crappy call. Game changer if I've ever seen it.
If Johnson mispronounces Ozil's name one more time, I'm gonna hit something. He also mispronounced Lahm's name the whole match 2 weeks ago.
