Want to give credit to Stith. Last few games he's been rock solid and contributed in ways he never has before. He has shown his speed, penetration ability and made shots. I give this kid all the credit in the world. He stuck this thing out and is getting rewarded with legit PT in his senior season. He has shortcomings but he has really helped us thus far and hopefully he continues to give us good minutes.

Not to diminish him but Stith is more of a mid-major starter, and maybe a Big East contributor. I discount anything he did before tonight against lesser competition, but he did play well tonight. I think the best we can expect long term is that he is a solid contributor on a team loaded with talent. At worst he's a spot player whose time will diminish either when guys become eligible or next season when even more talent arrives. Solid citizen though, and glad he's here.

Dear MCNPA -- He's a junior.

Yore right. Keep forgetting.

You can definitely see that he has way more confidence this season when he's on the court and when he's driving to the basket.

Always thought he was better than Boothe but not as willing to screw up. His short wingspan and average quickness put him at the bottom of the list on defense but he does blend into the offense pretty well. A few hoops wouldn't hurt though. Meanwhile Greene should be moved up in the rotation and kept there. This is a tough fearless bunch with huge upside. Just Garrett alone would make a huge difference right now at the top of the zone. Last year Boothe played down low as a liability and that's where Stith should be unless he can keep someone in front of him. I'd like to see a little more matching up based on known three ball threats. The field days just have to stop.

Moved up in the rotation? We play 7 guys. He got over 20 mins last night. How much more and at the expense of who?

I don't think he even played 20-- more like 16 I believe--- he didnt leave the bench in the 2nd half until Nuri got his 4th or fouled out.

Bobre wasn't talking about Stith. He was talking about Greene getting moved up in the rotation. Yeah Stith only played 16 but Greene was higher 20's I thought.

Gotcha, Green looked good--- and I see on another thread you mentioned Cedric Jackson-- don't the two look very similar when they are dribbling down the court?
