I have gone to every home game this season except for the William and Mary game. The University has yet to distribute the men's basketball magnetic schedules which is inexcusable considering they're 6 games into the season and the season is 20% over.
During each of the home games I have asked numerous people at the game about the status of them and got the same response each time, "I don't know"...This time last year they had distributed the schedules, the pens with the schedules and the posters. This year, in a year of raising ticket prices by 20% they have only distributed the posters.
On Tuesday night I got an answer from a university employee saying that there was a mistake on the schedules and they had to re-do them. I didn't inquire of the mistake, however, after looking at the pocket schedule and poster it doesn't take a genius to find the mistake. Per both items, the UCLA game is being played at Carnesecca, which is clearly not true and a bad job by the university's marketing department in not catching that mistake.
Hopefully Saturday they'll have the schedules out so us fans could proudly display them on our fridges or offices. If not, fans won't get them till December 21st.
