Simply because Avon will use any and every opportunity to take a shot at Lavin. It seems as if he has a Man crush on Lav and got rejected. He can never acknowledge anything positive about Lavin or his staff. All of his posts are extremely redundant. I can see him anticipating a loss to Georgetown on Saturday so he can get on Redmen.com with his anti Lavin rhetoric, SMFH !!!!!

It could be a number of things:
1.  Marrying a nubile which garnered the evil eye of coach K.  Jealousy is a sin.
2. Taking the name of the basketball Lord's name in vain. John Wooden ' s curse from the grave.
3.  Refusing to attend Sunday Mass with the Maven and drinking holy wine.
4.  Living in the West Village with actors and male escorts when he should have been living Jamaica Estates and walking to work.
5.  Convincing coach Keady to give up the comb over which was good luck in the first year.
6. Being dumb enough to think he was saving the program money by offering preferred walk ons a spot on the team instead of signing scholarship players.

My guess is the loss of the comb over effect.
