Actually ( and I'm being totally serious ) my girlfriend and I went in march of 09 and this is when the stock market was getting destroyed and from my perspective it seemed like the world economies were about to just completely implode.

Most people here who read the former R&P forum know that I work in finance. I told my secretary and business parter not to call me unless it was an absolute emergency and I wouldn't even open my laptop

I walked up to the wall and prayed to God to stop the stock market carnage. Without me knowing at the time because I wouldn't check for info but within I think 48 hours ( and it might have been 24 hours ) the stock market had pretty much bottomed

  I went back at night to pray for Norm to get fired. lol

  I wouldn't wish my job on an enemy. lol My first 8 years in the business I worked 6 days a week without ever taking a vacation day and I didn't take my 1st vacation until 10 years in.

I'm just making up for lost time :)
