I know we are early, and maybe the optimism is grabbing a hold of me more than it should, but my observation is that the quickness and ball control of Lovett is pretty impressive for a guy that just played his first collegiate game. He reminds me a little of Westbrook. The guard play of this team has the potential to be really special as they develop, and we may be pleasantly surprised by Mussini's contribution without him being burdened by having to run the point. Front court still looks green to me, but No. 20 seems to have a good head on his shoulders. Think Lovett can play role that solidifies this team, think he can make the players around him better and believe that this team will punch above their weight, and surprise a few by the time we get to February.
