I know many on here are critical of him for his lack of public support of SJU, despite being an alum (myself included) but I thought this would bring a few laughs (or roll of the eyes) to some on this site.

Have to admit, I don't remember seeing it in the bookstore when I was in there last week.
 
I met someone this weekend who used to work at WFAN
He said that Francesa was aloof and is as arrogant off the air as he is when he is on
He also said that the Mad Dog was a nice guy and very friendly with the support staff
 
Someone called in today and complimented him on the sweat shirt and he said it was from
the coaching staff and he believed it was special but he was not sure. Good national publicity
no matter how you cut it. Show is seen coast to coast and recently their was an article in LA Times
indicating Francessa is among the top four most influential sports personalities in broadcasting.

I have to imagine that high school students (recruits) are not in his target audience.
 
The players wore a long sleeve t-shirt like that last year. Been looking for that (or this hoodie) ever since! Think its team issue only. Don't understand why they pump such awful stuff into the bookstore instead of nicer gear like this!
 
Perhaps his beef was with Harrington, which wouldn't be surprising. Not that reaching out to Francessa is even on Bobby's top million things to do, but perhaps MF's loyalty to his alma mater is increasing. He certainly is among the most prominent graduates of the school
