Have been reading Redmen.com for years as a looog time Redman Fan as I find it informative in keeping up with SJU Basketball and finally decided to sign up as I have a little more time to consider posting. Long time season ticket holder/alumnus, who is waiting for the one magical moment that came close in 1985. Guess the love of expectation for the underdog goes to who I follow. Raised in a family of Brooklyn Dodger fans, who in youth remembers that one special 1955; their leaving led me to believe O'Malley's first name began with a "F" based on what I heard from parents, et. al. From their followed lovable losers, Mets and had a few great moments to savor. The Rangers have already given me once in a lifetime moment. (Like my parents, I think Dolan's first name begins with "F"--so I like the Nets who are still trying to overcome the curse of trading Dr. J)

Have never left an SJU game early regardless as I believe we should support the lads regardless as they will be fellow alums. I take the approach of side by side we stick together. SJU forever. The glass is half full. Never diss a player who gives his best. Coaches--well......

Welcome BrooklynRed!

Sounds like you're a hardcore fan. Now, if you're also just a little crazy, you'll fit right in.

Welcome! Been attending sju games since early eighties, never left a game early until the last home game of the season two years ago. I met friends at the game 9pm start
I believe we were down 5 with 17 seconds left it was after 11. I left the game and they won in double o t

Thought I learned don't leave early. I went to the met double header Monday night. Game started at 4. I said to my nephew at a little after 9 we go at 10. Sixth inning ended we left. Bottom of the 7th mets blast 3 home runs! Lol

I love your post BR. Especially the glass half full part. Our human nature is to often be glass half empty people, but those who do that consistently debilitate themselves, and a really a drag for those around them. Even when we think we have positive outlooks we don't realize how negativity diminishes us. Thanks for an upbeat post and welcome aboard.
