Does anyone know is there a big AAU tournament with several of our potential recruits on Long Island/Queens this summer?

I have let the staff know that they should look at Class of 2017, 6 9 Olivier Longpre from Montreal who was invited to attend the camp, who goes to school in Maryland and plays for the same AAU program as my younger son, Brookwood Elite. Olivier holds offers from a bunch of programs including Georgetown and Wisconsin.

Open to the public? And would I have needed to get tickets months ago?

It is open to the public and there is a daily fee for admission. If I get a schedule and team rosters, I will post it so that members can see what time players we are interested in are playing.
 
I sent two of my sons to Gus' camp at St. Anthony's. Not impressed with his coaches and told him so. He hired a lot of young, inexperienced guys. His answer to me was they have to learn sometime. My answer, "Not while I'm paying." One day my son was at forward and never saw the ball because this one hog guard never passed to anyone. That really ticked me off, especially since the coach did NOTHING to stop him. BTW, I am a good friend of Alfieri and attended SJU at the same time. One of my sons played at St.Anthony's.
 
The St Anthonys basketball camp is now run by Sal Lagano. He's the new head coach there. He was at NYIT. Pevious to Lagano it was run by Jim Fenton.
 
Adidas camp starts tomorrow at LIU Post. However, they are having the All Star Game tomorrow evening at Rucker Park 155th St and 8th Ave in Harlem. Rawle Akins, Mustafa Heron, and Shamorie Ponds should be playing in the All Star Game. Once team rosters and schedules are handed out, I will try to post that information also.
Why is the All Star game the first night of camp, I don't know.

All star game ar Rucker moved to Thursday because of weather I believe Panther.
