I liked the move Mullin made to put Owens in the starting lineup. At the very least he can catch the ball and go to the rim. I hope this was the idea behind it and not just part of his rotating starting 5.
I would go Owens, Yakwe, Ahmed and the two guards.
Mussini comes in for Ponds or Lovett but one of those guys should always be on the floor.

Ellison is playing much better but unfortunately it seems he is better with the ball in his hands which is a bit of a problem in that I want Lovett or Ponds on the floor at all times.

So basically Mussini first guard off the bench and xxxxx er Alibigowhatever first big.UGH
Ellison 8th man. That is it.

I think you use that rotation and it gives us best chance to wins some games.

Jumping ahead to next year; assuming all our guards stay and continue to improve, with the addition of Simon we are going to have one kick-ass backcourt.

I would like to see #20 play more to see if he can improve his outside shot. Since we are a 3 point shooting team, if he could shoot better that would help. He can pass the ball.

The kid is German and Germans are fast learners. If Mullin and Mitch fix that shooting form glitch I think this kid can be terrific. He just turned 18 a few months ago as did Shamorie but they are a big part of the future.

The kid is German and Germans are fast learners. If Mullin and Mitch fix that shooting form glitch I think this kid can be terrific. He just turned 18 a few months ago as did Shamorie but they are a big part of the future.

He did hit a 3 late last night, and had a really good look from the same spot (which he missed). He did come up with a nice block late that had his teammates charged up. A few moments later when lined up for an SJU foul shot he was grinning ear to ear as he chatted amiably with a Fordham player. Even though he hasn't found a groove yet, he appears to me to be D1 capable in terms of handle and will only improve as he matures and adds some strength.
