I just had a look at Lindy’s prognostication. They have us at #5 in the Big East and #32 in the Nation. We also make the Tournament. Reasonable but then again, I am past reasonable. I think we do better. Why not?

Sorry I don’t have anything to attach. Just saw hard copy at Barnes and Noble.

One thing that made me sick was “last years“ defensive stats. We were #306 in the Nation in defensive ppg allowed. . Obviously, means nothing with RP and a completely different Roster but that is horrifying. Al Lobalbo just turned over in his grave.

Defense was not good last year but were also #4 in number of possessions per game leading to proportional growth in total score per game. That's how they got to top 30 in offensive ppg scored as well. Both metrics need to be considered in relation to each other and overall pace of play.

As CMA mentioned in his first press conference, we’re going to press the opposing team at the bus. Unfortunately that exhausted them for the games.

One other thing I noted…Lindy’s was/is not high on Michigan this season. That game we have at MSG is a must win early. They have them middle to back of Big Ten. Said something like none of their players are game changers.
