Welcome! Let me be the first to help you with a few ground rules. As long as you abide by the following, you will be fine.
1. Never question Lavin's recruiting ability. Everyone can accept that he is a lousy game coach, but we love him because of his outstanding recruiting.
2. Never compliment Seton Hall. If you absolutely feel compelled, please be sure to preface the compliment by declaring "it's not fair" that Willard got Whitehead by hiring Tiny.
3. Never insinuate that Ed Cooley is a good coach. Just agree that he is nothing without Bryce Cotton.
4. Should anything go terribly wrong with the program, do not criticize. Regardless of how bleak it looks, you must vow to "just let things play out". This of course doesn't help, but at least you can't be accused of being a troller or anti-Johnny.
5. The golden rule is that nothing is Lavin's fault. Please refer to following possible excuses to explain any short-comings........referees, fans, the new Big East, Fox Sports/ESPN, Norm Roberts, players going to the NBA, fraudulent transcripts, Kentucky paying for players, WIllard hiring Tiny, and maturity levels of the kids.
6 Do not post repetitive opinions unless you are using one of the Lavin excuses above, trying to control what others post, complaining about Dom's rebounding, taking exception to Phil Greene's shot selection, or reminding everyone that Willard hired Tiny. Basically, if it doesn't involve Lavin, you actually can be repetitive.
7. Lastly, please understand that Mike Dunlap is never coming back.
Oh and.........wlecome!
