Fellow posters and especially long-timers, my very good personal friend and our redmen.com friend, Northshore, has been fighting kidney and liver disease for some time and is on the transplant list at the University of Florida.

One of his other friends set him up on the Give Forward fundraising website (BBB Accredited and A- Rating) to help cover deductibles, Rx, travel expenses and more.

Just wanted to thank you all again for the help in this tough situation. Having a hard time in this relentless Florida Summer heat, it just knocks me out. I am hoping for a break in the weather in a few months. ;) It has warmed my heart the outpouring of prayers, help and ideas you have all come up with. Thanks to you guys, other friends and family, my dog and my incredible wife that I am making through this a lot easier.

no donation too small either for anyone thinking about contributing. what bill is going through could happen to any of us so pay it forward and hope we all all get lucky and don't have to go through what our redmen.com brother is dealing with

They are actually opening a new place down the road from me called Double D's. Might have to have a Florida Redmen gathering in the winter.

I spoke with Northshore yesterday and he sounded very cheery, even though I am sure he wasn't feeing too well. He and his wife just had to relocate after his landlord decided to redevelop the property.

Wish him well please.
 
Thank you OhioFan!!! A new hobby as we are finishing up our move will be cooking. I need opinions on the perfect Lobster Roll as I am doing dinners for those who helped with the move and gave up a lot of sweat in this 100 degree weather.
