I actually started this thread sort of as a “goof” sitting in the stands of our game at halftime as I was checking on the Kansas vs Michigan State game as it is out of character for me to start this particular type of thread.  I had no idea whether he was injured, redshirting or anything else but knew such a thread would be started and soon.

I can't imagine that's what he and pops had in mind when he was choosing a school.

Agree.  It’s too bad because he could be playing starter minutes at a ton of other schools. Buyer beware when it comes to these blue chip programs that just stack talent and immediately recruit over kids. They win but lots of kids end up not getting off the bench.

Didn't he reclaasify up a class?  If so, redshirt might not be a surprise to him.

Yes, however he reclassified back into his original glass.  Previously he reclassified down a year.

Kansas looked like the Number 3 team or better last night in thrashing Mich State .  Noticed Norm getting a little balder and grayer on the Bench when the camera caught him .                               He’s got to be close to10 years now at Kansas as Assistant Coach .   He’s made a nice Career for himself with Self .  Glad to see he’s still in the Sport and doing well .

Kansas looked like the Number 3 team or better last night in thrashing Mich State .  Noticed Norm getting a little balder and grayer on the Bench when the camera caught him .                               He’s got to be close to10 years now at Kansas as Assistant Coach .   He’s made a nice Career for himself with Self .  Glad to see he’s still in the Sport and doing well . 

I believe both SJU and Kansas will be undefeated going into that game.  We are going to need a heck of an effort from the SJU faithful in the crowd to pull out that one.  I will be in the crowd and losing my mind.  Lets dream big.
