Lebron to Lakers

Lakers have a lot of good young talent. Will be very interesting to see if they try to trade it for K. Leonard or leave it alone for Lebron to lead. Either way, West will be fun next year between Warriors, Rockets & Lakers. I'm neither a Laker or big Lebron fan, but clearly best move for both.

I am glad.

Couldn't do a fifth year in a row of Cav and Warriors in the Finals.

Think it would have been Celts & Warriors even if Lebron had stayed in Cleveland but I get it.

I honestly can't stand the NBA in modern times. It has turned into an 8 yr old playing an NBA videogame just making an all-star team except now it's reality. LeBron with his "Decision" event with cameras everywhere and the live broadcast, KD moving, LeBron again and again, superteams, etc. it's just a bunch of bull honestly. It never used to be like this where grown men become wusses and if they can't beat you they join you.

There are 3-5 NBA teams who can seriously compete for a ring every year...3-5 all-star teams and then everyone else. At least the Warriors did it the right way but then KD had to join them. Ever since the Celtics formed their big 3 and everyone else has been pulling the same crap, it's been unwatchable to me. It doesn't help that we all know the Knicks suck and will always suck as long as Dolan owns the team. All the talent is now concentrated in the West...it would be so nice to have a real New York presence at the forefront of any kind of basketball again pro or college.

Who could afford to buy the tickets anymore ? Certainly not a family of 4 and even if they could they are not obtaining good seats. Change the tax law ,eliminate the tax deduction for the Corporation.

When I was in high school, 1961-65, students could see the Knicks for 50 cents, train fare round trip was 30 cents, and we would but a slice of pizza and a coke on 169th St. and Hillside Ave. for 25 cents before getting on the E train. Now if I take my wife and granddaughter, it is $450.00 for three seats that are not great, at least $30.00 for LIRR from Jamaica, and forget about eating.

How times have changed, smh.

My daughter gave me two tickets to a Knicks games as a Christmas present. First Knick game I'd been to since the year before they got Carmelo. As I recall, price for two so-so seats was around $270. And even though it was March 31 and game was completely meaningless for both Knicks & Pistons, it was pretty well attended. I'm sure a lot of the crowd were there through given away corporate seats. It really is a shame as all but the rich folk are precluded from thanking their kids to a game except for a very special occasion.

Knicks games are flooded with tourists. I worked with quite a few folks from overseas and whenever they came over they always asked about going to a Knicks game. They didnt care the price. They knew the team sucked. Watching an NBA game at MSG seems to be 'the thing to do'

I was about to say that. In the one or two Knick games that I go to each season besides the high cost and watching a bad team, the crowd never gets into the game even when its close. It is like visiting a museum. I am not a huge hockey fan but at least a Ranger game is fun.

I also have to add that I realize that I am fortunate to afford a game or two, it is terrible that so many people who love basketball can't.

GS picking up a 5th all-star (albeit coming back from a major injury).

I agree I think Boston is winning the East with our without Lebron in Cleveland.
