Lavin on Channel 5 @ 10:30pm

I heard Lavin say that he has one of the best winning percentages in the first weekend (2 games) in NCAA history.

Would you like to know more about his UCLA days? Ask him, I am sure he would love to discuss......again, and again, and again.

His public relations team is really working it to get that extension for him.

Funny but Ron Naclario thinks Lavin finally got it right regarding how a coach should dress 24/7.
Bob Huggins figured it out years ago. His wardrobe is the least of his or our problems.

As a rule, I generally don't care how a man dresses---unless, of course, if it is at a wedding or special event. Why the obsession with it by some is beyond me.

That being said, one of the first things I noticed was the UA logo on the left knee of his pants. This is all about sponsorship and marketing. I have no problem with it. In fact, I was thinking that UA should make lapel pins for coaches to wear when they are wearing a suit.

I thought UA stood for Unauthorized Absence.

i am sure you are right. Especially, with what's happened over the last week or so, his UCLA days are his proudest accomplishments.

But, many UCLA fans would highly disagree.. Most felt he had FINAL 4 talent nearly every year and never won it all. Somebody quoted < ' Yeah, he had final 4 talent and took us to the sweet 16!"

Baron Davis was quoted saying this," Yes, We had a great year, think how much further we could have gone, if we had a Coach."

This is sour grapes garbage from fans and players. Casey Jacobson from Stanford noted that twice Stanford was a number 1 seed and lost early. His explanation was they practiced and played tight. No mention of X and 0's which is stupid when you are in a tournament because you won games.
