And winning 39-27 at the half.
Great to beat the lower tier teams but we must be able to beat top level teams too. Don't mean to be a downer but rather a realistic fan of the ladies.
 
Ladies win in OT, 81-77
Lewis is the unsung hero, scoring 9 of her 11 points in the overtime
Walker and Handford both fouled out in the fourth quarter
Marquette is the youngest team in the nation
They have 8 frosh and only 2 players that played college ball before this season
They were picked #9 in the pre-season poll
We were very fortunate to escape with a win - but, we'll take it and move on

I don't mean to be a downer either but this team has a lot of flaws
Lewis was great in the OT but is generally a non-factor in the offense
We don't play good fundamental defense - people drive around us with ease
We don't have enough front court strength, especially because Walker is foul prone
Wellere played well but, without Handford and Grant next year, it's cause for concern
Our young players need to develop in a hurry!!

Aubie, i wouldn't bet the ranch on beating Seton Hall at all, forget about convincingly

Don't think they beat the Hall either. Got beat up last year also. Biggest weakness is no 3 point shooting. If they fall behind they are dead. This is a weapon that has come to the forefront in Basketball. Always was their in womens game but now prominently displayed in Mens and especially the Pros.
 
I was very disappointed in the size of the crowd
From the shot they showed on TV, it looked very sparse to say the last
If you added up the band, cheerleaders and dance team, it about equaled the "crowd"
Nice to see some of the men's players there to support the ladies
They showed Amar, Federico and CJ on camera, among others
Being able to watch the BEDN games on my tablet at home is great!!
