Hate to use the phrase must win but this is a must win for a team with tournament aspirations. Creighton does not have a winning record and we can't loose two in a row to teams with loosing records.

Leading 36-27 now with under 14:00 left in the second. We were loosing the battle of the boards but are now tied. I imagine the staff read the riot act at halftime. Don't take your foot of the gas ladies and keep us and increase the lead you have.
Leading 43-29 with 11:34 left as we have made our last 6 shots however Grant has picked up her third foul and there is still a lot of game left to play. We unfortunately need contributions from all our starters if we are to be successful. Go ladies
Leading by 17 now, 48-31 with under 8 left but most importantly freshman point guard Tamesha Alexander just scored 4 points on 2/2 shooting , which are our first bench points in a while. Tamesha from Philly committed as a junior but I believe was injured her senior season and did not play and needless to say it was taking her a little longer to come around this season. Her contribution is Key to our success . Go ladies.

As I said to start this thread a must road win.
Freshman Tonya Wade with 2 points late in the game and Crystal Simmons with 3 boards. Hate to repeat myself but we need contributions from our bench if we are to go far this season. Glad to see a little today and let's hope it is the start of things to come going forward.
