Ladies Playing Butler

On the road tonight in a must win game. Both teams are tied at 10-6 in the Big East. We lost the first game to them at home when Denijah Grant got tossed and this is a real must win to put us alone in 3rd place in the Big East ahead of Butler and Villanova.
We won the first half 30 - 19 and are leading 49 -39 with 7:49 left to play. Handford leading the way with 19, kid is just great. Jade has 10 points and Grant has 9. Amber has 8 boards as she continues to set a career record with each board she gets.

And we win our 20th of the season as we beat Butler on the road 60-49, a huge win for the ladies.
Congrats to all and we are in a good position to dance for the 6th year in a row.
Handford led the way with 21, Grant finished with 13, Walker with 10. Points and 11 boards , Amber had 8 points and 14 boards and little Lewis had 5 assists. A good solid effort but must get more from our bench.
On to Sunday and hopefully our 21st.
