Ladies Defeat Albany 71-66

SSG, we signed one top prospect from Long island in the fall signing period
She is a 4 star recruit and ranked #32 in the country

Not sure about prospects for the spring signing period
Perhaps our esteemed colleague, redmannorth, has additional information to share

We need a little more up front for next season and beyond.
Staff is certainly looking at other forwards for next season but not sure who we will get.
As mentioned on another thread the two transfers, a junior and senior , who left after last season really hurt us depth wise this year.
And no one has been more unlucky with injuries than Joey T every year he has been here.
Alisha Kebbe, who was all BE as a freshman last season got hurt the first minute of the Albany game and did not play thereafter.

Last week I officiated a game between St. Mary's and Scanlan from the Bronx. Baily is a gifted player. Should be a contributor right off the bat for SJU. St. Mary's has another big girl (I believe a Sophomore) who is getting looks from major colleges. Hopefully we are involved too. Scanlan has three sophomore kids being recruited by some of the major players, including Yukon. One is really, really good. Again, not sure if we are involed.

We are very involved with one of the girls from Scanlan.
